Distance Learning with NCT
With NCT you can learn while you earn and with the better job prospects provided through a distance learning qualification, an increased salary, it’s a case of ‘learn to earn’. Here’s an overview of some of the other benefits of taking courses by distance learning:
- You can study in your own time and at your own pace
- There are many distance learning courses to choose from
- No entry qualifications or previous experience is required for most courses
- Distance learning is an affordable way to learn
- You’ll receive help and guidance from a personal tutor
COVID19 note – All courses now have an optional 30 minute tutorial support provision for each module within a course. Groups requiring training in an organisation who are working from home might like to take advantage of this opportunity where an on-site delivered course is not practical in the current virus situation.
The National College of Technology was founded 26 years ago to produce, market and support flexible and distance learning courses in electronics to cover the requirements for Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Further programmes were added to its portfolio and in 2003 it became part of the OakCAD Training Group with OakCAD Training providing a comprehensive range of distance learning and tutor lead training courses.
The courses are particularly suitable for those engineers who have a specific qualification or knowledge or have experience gained in the workplace and are seeking other skills as part of a cross-skilling or enhancement programme and are also proving very beneficial in supporting NEW apprentices in their training.
The courses are particularly suitable for those experienced engineers already holding an existing qualification but who are looking to widen subject knowledge as part of a career enhancement or cross- skilling programme. They are also a useful way to provide a recognised qualification for those whose skills and knowledge have been gained in the workplace without benefit of recognised qualifications. New apprentices can also benefit by following some subject specialisms.
We also provide a training consultancy and support service and would be pleased to talk to you regarding your specific areas of training need. We are confident that we can present a cost-effective solution to the training needs of YOUR Company.
The experienced staff of NCT provide advice and consultancy to a wide range of individuals and organisations who are seeking flexible solutions to their training needs.
We can provide a complete consultancy, guidance, training and support service for a comprehensive range of engineering activities.
